Distracted Driving Crashes in West Virginia
On West Virginia roads, driver distraction is becoming a bigger problem very quickly. A lot of serious accidents happen across the country because drivers aren’t paying attention. Cell phone use is one of the main reasons for this notable increase in distraction on the road. It is well known that drivers who are not paying attention cause almost 26 percent of all car accidents in West Virginia. There were about the same number of cell phone accidents across the state as there were accidents caused by eating, drinking, or smoking.
