Charleston, WV (March 1, 2025) – There were serious injuries reported following a car crash in the Charleston area on Friday, February 28. The accident took place that morning around 10:35 a.m. at the crossing of 31st Street SE and MacCorkle Avenue SE. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched in order to render the necessary medical aid, and the victims requiring additional treatment were later transferred to local hospitals for further treatment.
The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided at this time.
