Charleston, WV (March 27, 2025) – There were reported injuries in the aftermath of a pedestrian-vehicle accident in the Charleston area on Wednesday, March 26. The collision occurred at around 5:27 p.m. at the intersection of Mary Street and Crescent Road. The victim was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the injured party. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed while paramedics provided aid to the involved parties. Ambulances were available to transport the crash victim to a local hospital for additional treatment. No updates on the conditions of the pedestrian have been provided until now. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is currently being handled by local law enforcement authorities.
