Charleston, WV (March 21, 2025) – There were serious injuries reported following a pedestrian crash in the Charleston area on Wednesday, March 19. The accident took place at around 4:41 p.m. at the 406 block of Brooks Street. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render the necessary medical aid, and the injured party was later transferred to local hospitals for further treatment. 

The victim was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle. The severity and number of the resulting injuries have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site. No updates on the conditions of the injured parties have been provided at this time.
