Charleston, WV (April 21, 2025) – On Sunday, April 20, there were confirmed injuries following a car crash in the Charleston area. The accident was reported that afternoon at around 1:14 p.m. at the 95 block of Interstate 77 NB. The victim was on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
The pedestrian was hurt as a result of the crash, and emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. The injured party was later transported to a local hospital for additional treatment. The severity and the number of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed at this time. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later sent to clear the site of the resulting wreckage and other debris.
