Charleston, WV (January 13, 2024) – There were confirmed injuries following a car accident in Charleston early on Sunday, January 12. That afternoon around 1:48 p.m. the collision was first reported at the 3515 block of MacCorkle Avenue SE. At least one person involved in the crash was reportedly injured.
The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been confirmed at this time. Emergency crews were present to provide aid to the injured parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present.
