Chelyan, WV (January 25, 2025) – On Friday, January 24, at least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of an auto accident in Chelyan. The collision took place on Interstate 77 NB that evening around 11:40 p.m. The injured parties were provided aid at the scene by attending medical personnel.
Ambulances were available to transport the injured parties to local hospitals for further treatment. The extent of the related damages has not been confirmed. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to remove the resulting debris and clear the roadway.
