Dunbar, WV (January 3, 2024) – A pedestrian crash in the Dunbar area resulted in confirmed injuries on Thursday, January 2. The accident took place at the corner of 16th Street and Fairlawn Avenue that night around 6:15 p.m. The victim was not on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
There were reported injuries at the scene, and emergency responders were dispatched to provide the necessary medical aid. The injured party was treated at the scene before being transported to local medical facilities for further support. The extent of the resulting damages has not been determined. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to remove the resulting wreckage and other debris.
