Elkview, WV (January 26, 2025) – At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the Elkview area on Saturday, January 25. That night around 11:28 p.m., the collision was reported at the 3800 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the collision.
The extent and number of the related injuries have not yet been determined. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while paramedics and local authorities were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. Local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
