Distracted Driving Crashes in West Virginia
Distracted driving is getting worse all over the country. A lot of serious car crashes happen because drivers aren’t paying attention. One of the most obvious examples of this is using a cell phone while driving. Statistics show that drivers who aren’t paying attention cause about 26 percent of all car crashes in West Virginia each year. Some other popular examples of this reckless behavior also include eating, drinking, or smoking. Drivers can travel the length of a football field in the time it takes to send one text message.
