Saint Albans, WV (January 10, 2024) – There were reported injuries in the aftermath of a pedestrian crash in the Albuquerque area on Thursday, January 9. The collision occurred at the corner of Spruce Street and Lincoln Avenue that night around 9:02 p.m. The victim was traveling on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the injured party. The roadway was temporary as authorities and paramedics were present to assist at the scene. Ambulances were used to transport the crash victims to nearby hospitals for additional support and treatment. The roadway was later reopened to outside traffic after tow trucks were able to remove the resulting debris. At this time no additional information on the accident is currently available. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
