Sharon, WV (February 25, 2025) – On Tuesday, February 25, at least one person sustained injuries following a pedestrian crash in the Sharon area. Early that morning at, around 12:13 a.m., the collision occurred at the 40 block of Ward Lacy Lane. The victim was on foot when they were hit by an oncoming motor vehicle.
There were confirmed injuries at the scene, and emergency crews were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. The circumstances leading to the collision are not clear at this time. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. The injured party was treated at the scene before being transferred to a local hospital by ambulance.
