South Charleston, WV (December 25, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of a car crash in the South Charleston area on Tuesday, December 24. At around 5:18 p.m., the collision was reported at the 74 block of Corridor G South. The extent and number of the related injuries have not yet been determined.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties. Those requiring further treatment were later hospitalized by ambulance. The area was temporarily closed while paramedics and local authorities were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. Local authorities are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
