South Charleston, WV (January 3, 2024) – At least one person sustained injuries in the aftermath of an auto accident in the South Charleston area on Thursday, January 2. The collision took place at the corner of Corridor G N. and Broundland Road that afternoon around 2:43 p.m. Emergency responders were dispatched to render aid to the involved parties, and those requiring additional support were later hospitalized by ambulance.
The number and severity of the resulting injuries have not been determined. The roadway was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. Tow trucks were later dispatched to clear the site of the resulting debris and reopen the roadway to outside traffic. No additional information on the crash is currently available.
